I haven't done any actual laundry in weeks. We literally have to wade through the dirty clothes to get to bed at night.

It got so bad that my husband actually broke down and did a load of whites without me prompting *faints* He'll usually help when I do it, but this is the first time he's done it on his own. Break through!

10/14/05 - married AbuS in the US lovehusband.gif

02/23/08 - Filed for removal of conditions.

Sometime in 2008 - Received 10 year GC. Almost done with USCIS for life inshaAllah! Huzzah!

12/07/08 - Adopted the fuzzy feline love of my life, my Squeaky baby th_catcrazy.gif

02/23/09 - Apply for citizenship

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!

Abdel and I have worked out the real laundry schedule pretty well. I do the clothes on the weekend and he does the bedding on Monday afternoon when he gets home from school. If he needs something during the week he'll wash it, but he won't touch my clothes after ruining one of my two best blouses.

The "other" laundry we do about a load a night I guess unless we're too tired. I'm sure he could do more than that if I had the energy. Guess I have another motive to get in shape faster.

Just Waiting, I know where you're coming from. I don't miss those days at all. I hope they get your AR finished soon. You're moving into your apartment about now aren't you? No more need to wait for him to get here to have a place to put him.
