Great news, LebaneseBride!!!!!! It's great to see you moving along in the process.

For the Morocco folks. This is an article I found about Morocco on cnn.com. Thought it would interest you.

Meriem

Thanks for the link Meriem! Apparently part of this project will involve the eventual destruction of my husband's neighborhood, since they live right on the coast by the Mosquee Hassan II, which is slated to become some kind of luxury resort type of area. It kind of depresses me, because I wanted our kids to spend all their summers there, by the ocean, going fishing and swimming in the ocean like my husband :(

I have a general question for those of you that went through the Jordan Embassy (Andrea, Kelly, Jackie, Amal, Dawn, Angel, Winddancer, who did I miss?)

Can I call or e-mail the embassy to find out if they recieved the packet from the NVC. Today is the 19th and the packet was mailed on the 7th, they should have it by now right?

JP you can email them. I think most of us looked at this site to see if any packages went out to the embassy from NVC that's how i knew how our packet got sent. I'll look for it and send the directions. I think they wait for a few packets to be sent before they send to Amman.

It's the NVC case # from now on.

That is because it has the three letters in front of and that's how they know you are at the correct embasssy. (I know this because for a long time the embassy in Lebanon was closed so we thought our papers would be sent to Syria. When we called Syria and told them our case # they said "BRT" is Beirut")
