I think there is alot of truth to what LuLu has posted, but easier said than done :P . It's definitly trying, and its not just one part or the other, its all of it! Sometimes my fiance drives me crazy and I just lose it... :help: LOL but we both know and ofcourse its hard to remember at the time of dispute for lack of a better word :D.that we love each other and we are directing our anger/frustration at each other because we just don't know any other place to direct to.

I'm arabic, but I even have a hard time with some ME ways of life. Its an adjustment for sure, but I know he is going through adjustments too. I think, no actually I'm sure, that once my fiance gets here he will be doing a bit of traveling himself and most likely he will be alone. I can't take that much time away from work unless they are weekend getaways and I will most likely use most of vacation time for going to Jordan again. But from what I have read here, the first few months are really hard since they cant work and I really don't want my fiance to stay home alone all day. So I figured this is a good time for him to go out and explore before he has a job or any kind of daily obligation. I do miss him alot and I do feel that he should be with me at the same time, but when I was in Jordan he let me do the same thing. He let me go out and exlpore even if it was not with him. I also think that when a person is gone for a short period of time, its makes you miss each other and keeps the sparks flying in your relationship...thats just my 2 cents.

LuLu, I am really sorry for you that this process has drawn you and your love apart. You are a wonderful person and I'm sure the right person is out there for you and will be willing to wait when they find you. I have a brother in his mid-30s that is still single and we keep hoping he will finally meet a girl that will treat him right, but so far no luck. He quit waiting and got a dog and started fishing a lot. Abdel was 37 when we met, and he keeps telling me that my brother will meet someone, you're never too old.

Please keep coming back and talking to us, even if you aren't in the process anymore. You're our friend regardless of your relationship status, and your input is of great value to all of us. It is good to hear the male side of things, especially from someone who has the middle eastern viewpoint. You can tell us what our husbands don't have the words for, or don't want to hurt us and tell us. Coming from you it doesn't hurt and we're more open to actually listen.

I'm sorry too lulu for what has happened. We all think you're the greatest!!! You deserve only the best in your life!!! I do agree with what you had to say about being new here... He does talk to his friends and family every day by phone or voice chat and when he got here, we spent a week traveling around a bit. He's also been traveling 2 other times with the same friend. I never gave him any static unitl it became a full 7 day adventure. I just find that if a person is married and has kids... they don't go out for joy ride vacations for a week alone, they go with their families. I have found a way to deal with it so I'm not "mad" at him and all will be just peachy when he finally does get back home. I don't like coming home to a dead house every night and I am not able to sleep. I don't feel safe without him here..(i don't know why..but its just how i feel) I've been sleeping on the couch so I can catch any intruders if they should so happen to try to break into my house.. My 7 year old has become angry since Noor left. He wanted to know why all the dads keep leaving him. I tried to tell him that Noor would be back for his birthday this coming weekend but he said.. "my dad tells me he will come see me and he always forgets so Noor will forget me too" I can't wait until he can see that Noor will keep his word to him. He deserves to have an honest father figure in his life.

By the way... Your car must have been bored to be doing backflips on the trampoline.. I hope you get a new car out of the whole deal.... We had tornados here in missouri like you could never imagine. 5 people found dead and a bunch missing. There was a tornado about 5 minutes from my mothers house (where we were seeking shelter coz she has a basement and I don't) All of the towns around us had at least 1 twister that night.. Springfield, Sedalia, Versailles, Lake of the ozarks, Camdenton.. all over the place.. man i was scared outta my socks!!! Thank God all is well now!!! hehe i have to say it almost felt good to tell the husband about it coz he kept saying.. "i should be with you..i need to come home now... i shouldn't be here...I should be there to protect my family" I didn't say anything neative about it but I did think...see what happens... (i'm awfull ain't i)

LuLu I was sorry to read your post of you and W parting ways. I have always loved to read your post and your insight on a man's point of view is very welcome. Really hope you will continue to come and share with us if you can find it in your heart. I agree with all the others you sound like a very lovely man and in time you will find your love of your life. Many blessings to you.

When I see the waits you ladies are having in the Jordan embassy its scares the hell out of me! :crying: I orignally thought that since I filed in November, he would be here by the end of June. After reading all of the timelines, I can see thet its most likely gonna be a longer wait. It feels like a never ending battle at this point and I'm not even half way through the process. :(

Jordanian Princess: Yes! The wait is long! You are two months behind me. I believe I will not see my husband again until July/August. If they utilize the entire 12 weeks or more, then it might even be longer. The I129F K3 may turn out to be a waste of my money as my attorney had suggested it might. My I130 is not too far off from being approved. I would imagine, unless there is this miraculous catch up, you will see your husband sometime in the fall. :crying: I'm with you girl!
