On another note: I been shopping around for houses to buy for a while and yesterday we found one

3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a huge back yard. We put a bid in yesterday and my realtor just called and told me they accepted our offer :dance::dance::dance:

Received Noa2and Approved I129F.

National Visa letter saying file moved to Amman. Was completed and sent on 12/16/05.

Received packet from embassy at my attorney's January 15, 2006

Packet mailed to my husband on January 22, 2006

Packet received by embassy on February 5, 2006.

Embassy called in April and set the interview date for August 23, 2006

Embassy called on 7-25 and asked Faisal to interview on 7-26 (nervous wreck but prepared)

7-26-06 Faisal is approved for K3 Visa

8-24-06, Faisal arrives at O'Hare Airport!!!!!!!

EAD filed in middle of September, 2006 approved in middle of October, 2006 and husband working

at end of October, 2006!

AOS I485

5-2-07- Noa1 on AOS

5-18-07-fingerprinting completed

5-25-07-letter received from USCIS from Missouri asking for proof of income from cosponsor.

AOS INTERVIEW SET FOR SEPTEMBER 5, 2007 IN CHICAGO

Nov 27, 2007 Three year Annivrsary. Two more and I can apply for a Jordanian Passport, and then we're going to Cuba (Just because I can). can't wait...

hey yall!!

well we didnt go to the beach on Sunday.......girls decided against it dunno why.......i guess me and just one of George's neices will go this coming sunday. i really hope so cause seriously i need to start getting some color, i look like a ghost standing with all these girls also itd be nice to go sit in a cold jacuzzi and then go swimmin too. yeeehaw lol....lets hope.

hopefully you are all doing well. Congrats Angel on the new house. its always great to settle into your own home. i cant wait until we can

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

Thanks Girls. I haven't been able to get excited about it yet because I been so busy working. I can't wait until this other Nurse goes off orientation. and I will go back to my regular schedule. Amal where you been? and how's things. Also Mary how's the life? I hope you are very happy :)

Yes! 8 more weeks to go as of today or 8 more Wednesdays! I don't know if i will make it for his interview, any suggestions here? I mean, is it ok that I will not attend or be out in the waiting room? Just not sure if i will be able to come up with the extra for the plane ticket and beside, I'm working. Been to Jordan two times already, would love to go again and make sure my husband has all his stuff together for interview and he gets there on time.

Kelly I am really sorry what has happen to you. It could have happen to anyone of us. I admire your courage for going to the site and sticking up for yourself and not backing down. I know what you went through to be with Sofyan and I know how much you two love each other. Don't let anyone ever make you think different. Of all the people the sharmoota had to pick on she pick the most innocent one who never did anything mean to anyone else on this board.

02/23/09 - Apply for citizenship

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!
