Amal...Beautiful picture and you are so right about kids and their view of life...too bad that later on we all get caught up in the so called "real life" and forget how to truly enjoy it...

Icey, what an adorable kitty...I wish to be able to sleep like he does...I hope you are enjoying your trip...and thanks for sharing your pictures...

KML_36...I used Air France on two of my trips to Morocco and must say that for me they worked out great...did not like my last flight with Royal Air Moroc...it was a direct flight but was not happy with it...Hope that you have a safe trip and welcome to USA....

I find Royal Jordanian good. Right now they are the cheapest.

George is skeptical about me flying alone so would prefer that i flew thru Europe so he is thinking KLM or British Airways, but i think both of them are more expensive. I have really good amounts of time on the schedule i picked for airfrance so maybe just maybe ill fly with them again if nothing else works out. its going to be frustrating no matter what airline because I dont speak any other lang except English and from what ive seen not many of the flight attendents speak good english, but as long as they know what pepsi, water, or chicken means, then i think im alright lol.

I have a question? I have read that we need to keep records to prove a relationship, telphone records. instant messages and emails. Do I print out everysingel email? All of instant message conversations? I started printing out instant messages from MSN which I use at work and from just May 25 to June 5th in instant messges I printed 53 pages. When I was going to print out emials it would of been 221 pages of just what I sent him so far and that was just from Yahoo. I printed the ones I sent from work. Can i just copy the pages that show the date, time, subject, and lenght? Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated.

Noooooooooooooooo! Remember, everything you submit follows you around for the rest of the immigration process, right on through citizenship if you go that far. Imagine how fat your husband's file would be after awhile

I printed screenshots of our inboxes at 4 or 5 different times throughout our relationship, printed a few select emails, photocopied some letters we sent back and forth, included about 12 pictures of us together and with family, plane tickets and that was it. Worked fine for us. Since you're doing K-3, a ring receipt, pics of your wedding, etc etc etc, would be good to include too.

10/14/05 - married AbuS in the US lovehusband.gif

02/23/08 - Filed for removal of conditions.

Sometime in 2008 - Received 10 year GC. Almost done with USCIS for life inshaAllah! Huzzah!

12/07/08 - Adopted the fuzzy feline love of my life, my Squeaky baby th_catcrazy.gif

02/23/09 - Apply for citizenship

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!

Angie

it's ok to keep a few things before you marry. Just to show you been in contact with each other. But what Amman what to see is that you still have ongoing communication after you are married. That's where you start gathering all your evidence. Say for example phone records, emails like 1 for each month or chats every months say like one from each week or just a couple just to show you are in contact with each other. Be sure to take a lot of pictures when you are in Jordan. Copy your passport pages to show entry and exit into Jordan each time you go. Postal letters are good to show too from both of you. Umm what else..?? I can't think right now cuz i'm making dinner. :)

Maybe I am taking the above out of context and I am by no means an expert in Amman, but I should think the evidence prior to engagment or marriage is also very important. Not saying the above is stating its not, however the way its reads to me is that the evidence after is important.

I separated my evidence into 2 piles. Evidence of meeting and establishing a relationship, and evidence of ongoing relationship. I don't think there is a need for EVERY piece of email or IM, etc. But again, evidence of an existing relationship PRIOR to an engagement or marriage is *also* very important.

Good luck to you!

not disputing what you say about prior information, but the consul specifically told my husband she wanted evidence of communication after our marriage. so we took back over a 1000 pages of documents  which they gave back to him after they approved him for his visa. so to be safe rather than sorry have him take all the information, but keep some aside just in case. Maybe Amal or Dawn or Jackie can add when they come on! and how they put together their information.

sorry about the kitten icey..geez algeria just must like what you have..first the cell phone now the kitten. Safe guard your fiance

Jess I flew on Air France didn't have trouble but the connections were close. I was sitting next to this guy from Michigan and he was telling me about his close connection time and was worried about making his connecting flight. I didn't even notice that my connecting flight was cutting it close also so i was pretty worried, but made it. Charles De Gaulle has no smoking so if you smoke..hehehe most of the women that smoked went in the bathrooms and lit up..includiing me but got paranoid and too a couple of puffs and put it out.

Thank you so much everyone. I greatly apprecaite all the help I can get. I will download everythign to a cd and print off some and this way it is all safegarded. I have bought two memory cards for my camera and will be downloading them to Costco for printing so I plan on haveing alot of photos. Ok it is now past midnight and in 40 days I will be in Hasan's arms.:dance::dance:(L) and in 39 days my journey to Jordan begins. Not worried about my connecting flight in New York since I have 5 1/2 hours. Then I am off to Amman.
