I'm having some technical troubles today so if this posts twice (or 1 1/2 times) sorry

Lb-Good for you guys on the ssn. Thats the same way it happened for us so I know its a relief to not have to wait the whole time, thinking you haven't even applied yet.

Amal- It does seem unusual that the need it mailed... any chance they said " we want to issue your visa so we need you passport" and he got so excited that he heard them wrong or assumed the mailing part? I cant imagine there'd be any penalty for hand delivering it to ensure its arrival. If distance isn't an issue today, I'd encourage him to do that instead. At least he knows he's getting it now. Good for them.

Have a good day everybody

airfrance didnt check the weight of our carry on's rather then the dimensions, it had to fit in this stupid little box thing, but some others it just had to sit on top if it. i ended up squishing some stuff in my bag from stickin it in that dang box. this time when i travel i will use airfrance again cause its the only airline i know but i will be taking a small carry on cause ill be by myself and dont wanna carry a heavy ol bag with me, prolly ill just take a backpack so i can run with it if need be

I used Airfrance on my last trip and I will tell you this. Never Again. That is the worst airline know to man. first we where delayed because they overbooked the plane and had to kick someone off. Then I missed my connecting flight because of them and had to wait and additional 4 hours in the airport. Then when we get on the plane, they make us wait because the people from another connecting fight had not gotten there yet. Then they loose my lugguage. On Top of all this the people who work in the Airport in France are the rudest people on the planet. This was just the way there. It was any better coming back. More delays, more rudness and no smoking anywhere in the Airport. At least on the way back all my luggage got there.

After I came back, I had nightmares about Airfrance and would actually wake up crying. Horrible Airline. Horrible.

I am not a big fan of air france myself e ither. They are always late, always. They aren't very polite and the planes aren't very nice. I had a hard time with them with my luggage but by the time I had to deal with them I was so stressed out that I was about to burst into tears so the lady told me it was ok since clearly I was having a bad day... what a wench. They are not timely, not polite, and they're French!! (oops that slipped out)
