Me and yacine are headded to bouira to go see his aunt (which i first met in tunisia) she lives in Hachemia :lol: wallahi

Icey, I didnt know they named a wilaya after my fiance. :lol: That is funny because his family and friends do call him "Hachemia." They add an extra "a" to everybody's name. Hachemi calles Yacine, "Yacina" and he has a friend named Amine, he says "Amina."

The four of us will be coming home on Tuesday! I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. I do not do well with air travel and since I'm already fighting morning, noon and night sickness with the twins I'm a little nervous. My doctor here did give me some medicine that will help with the nausea and make me sleep and says it is perfectly fine for the babies. I know I won't take it though unless I have to.

I've already spoke with my boss and I get to do work at home from now till basically whenever I want to come back to work in the office, which may be a few years at this point. I'm happy to know I will have a paycheck in a few weeks since I have totally drained my savings account since coming to Egypt. It's all good though!

:ranting::ranting::ranting::ranting: grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

we got the box today....

of course... they recieved it on April 30th... and held it for a month.. yacine made 6, yes 6 trips to Algiers... each time they HAD THE BOX BUT THEY TOLD HIM NOT YET STILL IN FRANCE OR STILL IN TUNIS

But it was there.

And it was missing the damn cell phone I bought him. I've sent many boxes to Algeria with items of significant value...

And the lack of respect for the stuff was disgusting, they stained one shirt and the other items of clothing they balled them up and stuffed them in the box.... which makes me mad because I ironed them and folded them so nicely.

sigh.... poor United states postal service has to pay for stuff stolen overseas.

am so madddddddddddddddddddddddd

Yup it's 50 Pounds but I don't think they check the wait of the Carry on. You can also pay an additional $25 for an extra 20 pounds.

Air France checks the weight of the carry on. Or at least they did mine and I had to pay around $250 to have it accompany me home :crying:

I'm going to butt in with a momentary "blither-moment". You guys know I've backed away from the forum due to my own emotional struggles these days. Still haven't found a job but I'm looking as hard as I can. But you know the old saying "every cloud has a silver lining"? It appears even this one has a silver lining...

My parents have not been accepting at all of my relationship with Mohammed for many reasons. Most of them stemming from his ethnicity. I don't blame them. They are the consumate "Ward and June Cleever" and I know this has been difficult for them to bend their sensibilities around. But because of my current hardship it has opened dialogue for us and I think they are beginning to see the man he is, that he is not using me, and that we are actually very and extremely serious about having a life together. They have gone so far now to offer their assistance should we need it after he arrives, to help HIM not just me.

I'm just sitting here all teary because this is a HUGE answered prayer. I wanted Mohammed to feel he had family here, it's what he wants so badly. So big brother, if you're watching, if my own PARENTS can accept this relationship as real and honest, why can't you?

Justwaiting, I am so happy to hear that your prayers are being answered. May all of your loved one's see that you have fallen in love with a man that appears to love you, not matter what where he came from. I am praying that everyone who is not knowing of the love that comes from our hearts is true and pure it does not matter where the one's we fall in love with. I believe that God joins hearts together and who is anyone to judge. May all of your prayers be answered and many blessing be bestowed upon you.
