Does I-864 need to be notarized?

I saw in Internet that I-864 MUST be notarized, but I don't find any notarization area in I-864 form, is it necessary to get notarized? thank you

I did not notarize the I-864 and judging by the USCIS instructions, it is not necessary. Good luck on your journey

The old I-864 used to have to be notarized but they changed that requirement. If there isn't a place for the notary on USCIS forms then no need.

you can go to the local American Consule General's Office in your area to get things notarized and if they are part of your visa most times its FREE.

I did not notariz the I-864 and no problem for us.

I'm sure it is NOT necessary!
