Whats your favorite Horror Film

For me, it's a tie between "The Exorcist" and "Alien". "The Exorcist" scared me so deeply that I slept with the lights on for more than a decade after seeing it. I saw the devil once, so I'm open to the idea of possession.

"Alien" I would classify as a sci fi horror flick. It was so well done and was unpredictably frightening that I'm still upset about aliens to this day

On another note, I heard they are making another "dead" movie. It is supposed to start where Dawn of the Dead ended.

Don't know quite what happened in that last post, but I swear I don't work for the government - doing things in triplicate just isn't my style.

I have real trouble finding horror movies scary. The last one I sat through was "The Hills Have Eyes" and I found it funny, rather than scary. Of course, that may be because the police captain from Monk was in it. Even though he was the bad guy in "Silence of the Lambs", it's Monk that sticks in my mind.

The film that scared me the most was the original "Alien".

Oh, I know it's not a "horror" film but it scared the ####### out of me first time I saw it. Apparently I wasn't the only one. Remember the bit with the little alien bursting out of John Hurt's chest? The first time around, they only told John Hurt what was gong to happen.

And none of the usual suspects scares me. But Keyser Soze does.

I like Halloween and Friday the 13th as well. I just wish they would stop at maybe a sequel. Really, what are we up to on the Friday the 13th series? Like 10 or something like that?

I wouldn't pick any on that list. Too cartoonish. I am more frightened of the "normal" people in a film that turn out to be the baddies! Give me a Tony Perkins from "Psycho" any day for a real scare.

Carrie and the Exorcist scared the hell out of me. Right now we are watching Return to The House On Haunted Hill. So far very scary.

I believe it's a cult film now, but when I first saw it, it scared me really bad. The Evil Dead. Think there was an Evil Dead 2 made within the last 5 years, but don't know that I'd be that scared now.

Another one of my favourite, and still one of the scariest for me, was Hitcher. The original. Can't remember who was in it, but it was very scary to me!
