My fiancee's application was sent to Administrative review after her interview in agust. I just received an e-mail from the embassy asking us to bring her "new birth certificate". But we had already submitted one the day of the interview. I really don't know what they're talking about? new birth certificate?

I feel we're turning in circles with this embassy (in Senegal).

I sent them an e-mail. No response.

Will my congresman really help in getting the embassy to "talk" ?

Please share your experience and thoughts.

Thanks guys

Give the consulate what they asking for, get another certified copy of birth cert and give it to them.

At least they are reviewing the case instead of NOID, and sending it back to USCIS denied.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

The interview was in Senegal, but is the beneficiary from Mauritania? The reason I ask is that, MENA countries (middle eastern and north african) are normally sent through the administrative review process. People in the MENA forum can help you better understand your timeframes. It's normal for them to question you because of the stigma of terrorism coming out of countries in that area. They do extra background and security checks.
