USCIS Customer Service

[second stage 14]

I called up USCIS this morning and am told cases as of March 15th, 2007 are being processed but couple of other forum members have called and they were given different dates...how is this possible?

Some of the members mentioned they have talked to someone *nice* and they could tell if their case was assigned to some adjucator or not..

I had specifically asked the CustomerRep if she has purview to any such information and she said she just doesn't have any such information available to her....

Why is everyone's experience different when calling USCIS? Is it still 800-375-5283?

Everyone is calling the same number

This is just one of the many ways that USCIS makes this process frustrating. All it means is that they don't even really know what is going on

Sometimes I think the response that it has been assigned to a adjudicator is a "fib" just to passify the caller

Hi second stage, we have the same timeline..I have thought about calling, but I think I'll try to wait a bit longer as they seem to have started processing some files sent in the week before ours. In the last four and 1/2 months, I have called CSC four different times. Each time I spoke with a nice person but no one ever gave me any useful info. After hanging up, I always wonder why I took the time to call in the first place.

I am very hopeful that ALL May filers will be approved this month.

I think they may be trying to passify callers.

That's just so wrong...treating us like a kid.....If they have more info then, they need to disclose it or make it available online during each phase...like how you can track a package on FedEx or UPS...

Am hoping to hear more approvals from CSC in the next 2 weeks...
