NOA2 FINALLY!!!! AND DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT

HI!!!

I'm really happy because I finally got my NOA2 :dance: !!!!! My fiance and I decided to hire a lawyer for our process and since we didn't see any changes since Jan 26th we decided to give her a call.... Surprisingly she told us that she received the NOA2 on March 8th and that she is awaiting for my visa packet and scheduling... We were totally in shock since there was no change in the USCIS webpage since the NOA1 and now it seems that the interview date must be around the corner!!!!

For all of you that have your NOA 1 around my date (Jan 23rd) try calling CSC because maybe you've already approved for your NOA2 and are not aware of it....

YIIIPPPEEEEE!!!! soon I'll be reunited with my other half!!!!!!!! :luv:

Yeah.. why didn't your lawyer let you know about the NOA2.. and more interesting.. why didn't you receive yours...

Get a copy of that NOA2. That piece of paper is gold... Call your lawyer and ask them to send a copy to you..

I'm really confused.... :( I've just received an email notification dated April 10th that my case has been approved.... so what's going on??????????? I'm going to call my lawyer and I'll let you know.... and I kinda have mixed feelings about my lawyer's silence... since all I really want is to know when I'm going to be reunited with my fiance and specially how everything is going.. so yes, I would have appreciated if she contacted us and updated but I guess the MO of lawyers is just to notify us when any more documents are needed, after all, we did hire her to handle everything....

Anyways, I'll let you all know what's going on.... :unsure:

If your petition was approved it means they´re now gonna send your application to the NVC, from there it will head to the consulate in Peru, and then your fiance will receiver PAcket 3. You´re on your way. Congrats and good luck!

06-10-2005 - James visited Australia for first time on ETA- met in person

02-14-2006 - Engaged on Valentines day!

03-1-2006 - James returns to the US after 9 wonderful months visiting together

It seems that my lawyer was mistaken... the NOA2 is dated April 10th... I called the NVC and they did not received the case yet so I guess that the USCIS page and notification is right... I hoped that they were wrong :crying: but they weren't......

So probably my case is on its way to the NVC... I'm happy for that but I must admit that the lawyer made me think that maybe my interview was around the corner... so much for an expensive lawyer!!!
