help to remove condition

I need help i am in process with my divorce and now i live with a boyfriend.My boyfriend wants to marry me when i get my divorce.. I got my 2 year conditional greencard and i need to renew it soon. Can i file for removing of condition???Can i marry my boyfriend ? please help

Is the divorce in process? I think that if you are still married you need to do this with your husband. I am sure someone here knows for sure.

If you're still married, you can only file for removal of conditions jointly with your husband, and you must file during the 90 day window preceeding the expiration date on your Green Card.

If you have a final divorce, you can file by yourself, and you may file immediately, without waiting for the 90 day window to open up. You must prove that the marriage was entered in good faith. Filing alone is not as routinely approved as joint filing; be warned that you should present your case very well. You may want to seek the help of a good attorney with experience in this particular area to present your case in the best possible light.

You're legally free to marry your boyfriend as soon as you have a final divorce from your husband. Whether that's wise is another question, with a number of things to consider. From a purely immigration standpoint, a very rapid new marriage might tend to suggest that your earlier marriage was not entered into in good faith. But it would only be one small piece of evidence in a large picture.
