How long people receive IV bill and I-864?

Sep 24 the auto msg said it generated IV bill but so far hubbie hasn't received yet. The auto msg never mentioned if I-864 has been generated although NVC call center agent has confirmed they received AOS and the bill.

Does my case take too long to get those forms?

April 28 2007 sent I-130 to NVC

May 22 2007 application transfered to CSC

July 11 2007 received NOA1, decide to apply CR1 instead of K3

Aug 14 2007 touched (not sure if it is touched before Aug 14)

Aug 21 2007 NOA2 in snail mail :)

Aug 27 2007 NVC received our case, number is assigned.

Sep 11 2007 DS3032 and AOS bill generated and mailed out

Sep 12 2007 mailed out DS3032 from Canada and hubby mailed AOS bill in US. DS3032 will arrive NVC 3 days slower than AOS bill.

Sep 18 2007 Auto msg says NVC received DS3032, didn't mention AOS bill yet.

Sep 24 2007 IV fee bill generated

Oct 8 received IV fee bill. Still waiting for 864form

Oct 13 received 864form letter. It was issued on Sep 24 at NVC. Mailed out 864 on Oct 15

NVC agent said they don't receive IV fee bill nor 864. Send out IV fee bill again end of Oct.

Nov 8 IV fee bill entered to system

Nov 12 DS230 generated. But agent still said 864 is not received yet.

Nov 20 resend out 864 again(Hubby forgot to write case number on documents last time)

Nov 27 NVC Auto message said received 864, now waiting for 230

Nov 29 230 delivered. Will arrive at NVC next day.

Dec 3 NVC received 230 and put into its system

Dec 13 NVC operator told us the case is in administrative process.

Dec 14 Called operator again, and magically the case is completed!

My IV fee bill took 17 days to arrive, but we live in Canada. Received the I-864 19 days after NVC received our AOS fee bill payment.

Call the customer service to ask if your AOS was already generated. If it was, then you can use the James short cut to send the AOS. If you are sure your AOS bill ($70) was processed then you can send the AOS documents. It took 11 days for me to get the iv bill. you will get it this week or in the beginning of next week.

Last time when we called, the client said they already received both DS3032 and AOS fee bill, but not sure when they can be proceeded....

hopefully we get the forms early next week....

Ours took a long time too. There were generated, but based upon the stamp date it took NVC two weeks to put them in the mail. This happened for both our I-864 and DS230.

03/01/07 Mailed I-130 priority post to Nebraska.

06/19/07 Approved!!!

07/10/07 NVC assigned case #.

10/25/07 NVC Case Complete!!!!

01/22/08 Original Monreal interview- requested to reschedule, told 3-4 month wait.

04/17/08 Interview in Montreal

04/21/08 Received VISA package

06/24/08 Crossed border

07/26/08 Received conditional greencard

07/28/08 Received SSN in mail (went down and applied in person 07/14/08)

08/11/08 Infopass appointment to request 10yr greencard instead of conditional. Mailed out 1-90 with support.

09/25/08 Received case # for I-90

02/17/09 Received 10yr greencard!!! WOOHOO

Yesterday I received IV bill, but 864 form is never mentioned at NVC voice msg. I have no idea when my hobbie can receive it. He will call them tomorrow to check it out.....

Every step for us takes a long time.... :(

He will have to speak to a live person to find out when it was generated and when it will be sent out to the choice of agent.

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview
