Okay here goes:

First we file our I-485 and pay $1,010.....

We live in OKC so where do we file?

His last medical exam was last December 27th.

We will be married and filing for his AOS prior to December 27th. So do we need the I-693A? If so, where do we get that form?

With our initial AOS packet, do we need to send proof of our relationship (joint stuff) or is that for the actual AOS interview?

After we file our initial packet, we will receive a NOA1 correct?

Then we will receive a biometric appointment correct?

Then we will receive a letter for his interview time in OKC?

I feel overwhelmed and slightly lost........

While VJ is a very helpful site, I've recently started thinking that it can make things seem a lot more daunting than they really are.

Please stop feeling overwhelmed; I know that's easier said than done, but bear with me.

Read the instructions to form I-485 carefully, as well as the guides on this site, like a poster above me suggested. Everything really is detailed there, and while the VJ guide to AOS explains it in a more structured way, there really isn't much in the VJ guide that is not in the instructions to form I-485.

Anyway, I think OKC has or had a special thing about where you're supposed to file -- again, I expect that will be clarified to you by reading form I-485. I just looked over that part of the instructions for you and it looks like you have to send your package to the Chicago Lockbox like most people, because you're applying based on a K-1 visa and I can find no trace of that thing regarding OKC. However, do not take my word for it and look over the I-485 instructions.

Yes, as far as I know, you need I-693A, but only I-693A, not I-693. Find it on www.uscis.gov under Immigration Forms, although USCIS-approved doctors usually have it in their office. If the civil surgeon you get in touch with insists that you need the full medical (I-693), either show him the I-485 instructions that say you don't, or go to another civil surgeon. You should also "shop" for civil surgeons as none of them seem to have the same fee for filling out and signing your I-693A.

Edit: on that topic, I-693A is not linked directly from the Forms page on www.uscis.gov, so click on the I-693 form in the list, then look for "I-693 Vaccination Supplement" in the upper-right corner.

No, you don't need to provide proof of your relationship at the time of filing I-485 (other than your marriage certificate).

Yes, you will receive a NOA1.

Yes, you will receive a biometrics appointment letter.

Yes, you will receive an interview appointment letter, unless your case is approved without interview, which happens.
