Ok what are we up to.

Waleed- He's in Egypt finishing his Doctor training this month and maybe having his last Ramadan with his friends and family over there for awhile. That is if he comes here before the next one. When he is done he has to wait till Jan-Feb for his official licenseing as they only do it so many times a year. I think it was 2 times a year but not for certain on that. We are discussing what he should do next because the waiting process on the visas from Egypt are really unpredictable. He could start his Masters which is 3 year program or he could get a position in a private hospital there while studying to take the USMLE when he comes over here.

Me- I'm in the middle of midterm hell. I took too many credits this semester but I'm pushing to get this degree over with because after working for some 12+ years in the professional world while doing school at the same time I know I'm not going to go further without that piece of paper. I'm so close now so I'm really focusing on that.

Until then it's a we shall see what may come process and face it when we get to that bridge.

Let me know how things go when he starts applying for his US liscense. I used to be an auditor for the Federation of State Medical Boards, and I may still have some contacts there ;) It can take eons to get a profile pushed through, especially during the spring rush when everyone is finishing up residencies, etc.
