Well, I did it....booked our flights for our wedding in Florida, and keeping my fingers CROSSED that we get the Visa in hand in time! Interviewing in MTL 11/8, leaving 11/18....I THINK we'll be ok? Please tell me we'll be OK? (ok, flames, no joking around buddy, this is serious...well...not really....)

I couldn't pass up the deal....nonstop from Detroit to Tampa, roundtrip, $120 pp! I love Spirit Air!

When Kristy and I went to the Tampa area around that time last year we stayed at http://www.beachhousesuites.com/ It was really nice, and not very expensive. Be careful, though, it's probably not going to be as warm as you might think. It was only in the 50s and 60s, which was only about 10 degrees warmer than it was here in Michigan.

OK, nevermind the "not very expensive" part. I don't recall how I got such a good rate last year. Although, I think I booked a Standard, but they upgraded us to a Deluxe.
