Excluding Off-Topic posts from 'View New Posts' and 'Recent Posts' features

I can see how people who have no interest in OT antics might be annoyed by having to sift through OT posts when trying to find immigration-related info. How about the View New Posts and Recent Posts features be modified so that OT posts don't show? Anyone who is interested in OT can just go directly to the OT forum.

Awesome! That would be perfect, thanks so much. The toggle is great, since I personally like to see OT topics, but I know others find it distracting.

I'd like that. They are kind of annoying, like junk email to me. But I have a junk email folder. Here, I'm a little stuck scrolling past them. If it's a quick fix, I'd love it!

AOS Approved: 3/24/2009

Called USCIS 4/1/2009 told no status change and case not yet reviewed from RFE request.

Received green card: 4/3/2009

I agree as I made this suggestion a few weeks ago (just prior to changing my display name)... :thumbs:

It would be nice to be able to select or subscribe to certain message forums and then have 'View New Posts' only show new posts for the forums you are interested in. Or at least be able to specify if you want to include 'Off Topic' or not. Thank you.
