Many here know how difficult it has been for my fiance to make it from Sierra Leone to Dakar, Senegal for the second time to the embassy.

The post election violence hindered the passport issuance for his daughter and the enormous expense was an issue to see this DNA testing through.

My fiance does not speak French which complicated everything to do with Dakar and comply with the DNA request.

God blessed us with the finances and then VJ member Taurean and her husband Moussa came to our aid in a marvelous way.

After finally getting the passport and purchasing the tickets my fiance and his daughter were on their way to Dakar.

Taurean and Moussa arranged for their friend and familiy member to pick them up from the airport and transport them to the doctor

for the DNA test today........we were unable to reach the doctor for an appointment and so they had no choice but to just walk in.

The assistant told him to come back next Monday but thanks to the friends " fast talking " he was able to get right in !

These two wonderful men have taken great care of my fiance and his daughter in every way, found them a place to stay and even

bring them food.

We are truly blessed and again a big thank you Taurean and Moussa !

I am looking forward to meeting these great guys myself when I will fly to Dakar to be present during the second interview.

This was a cool VJ networking in action and I thank God for it.

It was truly a blessing! God has your back, front, and sides covered.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Sabine....I really don't know what to say except maybe "you're welcome." Like I told you earlier, this is what people are supposed to do, at least Moussa and I feel that way. I hope I don't sound corny, but folks are supposed to help each other right??? In any case, we (me, my husband, my brother-in-law and our dear friend) all feel blessed to be able to be there to help you and Stephen! What you didn't say in your post is that you encouraged us and others despite all the drama in your own case. You deserve some good things coming your way.
