Well?????????????

I'm not very happy. I think Dale should have won cos he took more chances than Hung. Sigh. maybe next season I'll like the winner!

So, Lisa, how'd ya like Hung's tribute to Marcel with the coconut foam????

I think Hung has been getting the villain edit all season and that it hasn't really been deserved, especially since when they're not focusing on making him look like a bad guy he does seem to get along with people and help out. But I think I would have been happy with anyone winning. Too bad Tre didn't make it to the final, because I would have loved to see him and Hung face off.

Note to future chefs: lobster never works.

Wow, it sucks to be Casey. She wasn't even a factor it seems and it was only between Hung and Dale. She couldn't even play a spoiler role.

Being on the West coast sucks. Everything is supposed to be live, they are asking for text message votes at 99 cents per message and all this has already been over for a few hours.

I was happy with the results.

I have a feeling that the judges didn't want to make the same mistake that they made last year, i.e. choosing based on personality rather than cooking skill.

I do really want to eat Dale's lamb dish though, maybe I'll get the recipe from the website and give it a try! Yum!

Bah.... Hung... oh well.

Have you tried any of the recipes?

Ok, so who is going to win fan favorite? If I could be arsed I'd have voted for Tre. I was sorry to see him go when he did.

Haven't tried any yet. It's pretty cool, Lee Ann from season 1 even does a video showing you how to make it. I'll let you know how it turns out if I try!

I was sure that Tre was going to win it all...it was shocking when he left.

Me too...he was the best and I was rooting for him. He reminded me of the chef that won Hell's Kitchen (Rock?). I was so glad he won. If that "nanny/personal cook" had won my TV would still have a big hole in it.

I guess they felt since Tre was the "head chef" that episode that the blame fell on him. I personally thought they should have sent the giraffe CJ home that dumped the job on Tre in the first place. He was worthless and did nothing that night, and the judges even mentioned it. I cheered when he finally left.

I was okay with Hung winning (like that matters :P ). I really didn't want Casey to win, but Dale would have been alright too. I can't believe as many times as he messed up he didn't get booted out!

I'm going to be going through withdrawals not having my cooking shows on. :crying:

I was glad to see that Hung won (I finally watched yesterday afternoon). I do think (trusting what the judges say about the taste, of course) that he was the best chef.

At first he annoyed me with his attitude, but really, he's right. Why should he tell them how he made that fish dish? Or why should he help when he finished early? If he were on a team, he would have... but this is a competition, and he was in it to win.

That being said, I was embarrassed for Casey when she completely - COMPLETELY - tanked almost - strike that - ALL - of her dishes.

When is that show that shows all of them together and they start fighting? I really don't want to miss it!

When it came to the final 3 I didn't really care who'd win, if I had to chose anyone from the entire group this season I'd have gone with Tre.

I'm happy Hung won....ITA with you about how he's gotten ####### for doing things even though this is a competition. It takes b@lls to sit down and not be all 'oooh they won't like me if I don't help out'

I woulda been happy with either Hung or Dale....I did like Dale a lot....although, I really wanted Tre to win & it's a shame he didn't get to the end cos I think he woulda cleaned up.

Ok guys? Who is it gonna be? Stephanie, Richard or Sourpants...I mean Lisa...

I'm having a Top Chef watching party tonight and making appetizers that might have been better choices than some of the dishes some cheftestants that left could have made....

Sausage stuffed mushrooms...that won't look like Nikki's poo-colored stuffed mushrooms.

FRESH sauteed scallops, instead of Spike's frozen ones.

BBQ'd polish sausage that Antonia & Lisa COULD have made when they were suppose to make polish sausage instead of some chorizo and sea bass mess.

Fried blinis that are made right before serving instead of Valerie's blinis that wilted.

And a few other things...
