USCIS should consider Veteran's Preference in processing applications for military veterans by speeding up the process of their applications not just the citizenship applications for active military so they can be shipped to war asap in case they are needed in spots that require clearance. They can do this as much as I observe that Cuban's applications process are being accelerated as well as that of Iraqs if I 'm not mistaken. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks

When you say " Veterans" are you really meaning " Active Duty"? Two different things.

There is already a way for active-duty members with impending orders to expedite their petition.

As for " Military Veterans"-well, take it from me, they join the back of the line and wait with everyone else.

As for your Cuban/Iraq comment. That's a completely different thing, also.....Those people you seem to be talking about are entering on a different kind of visa program that does get processed differently, and seems to be faster.. Does that make it right or even fair? Hell no! 'Course not-but it is what it is. Ask someone who is petitioning an Iraqi how long their family-based visa process is-guaranteed it's longer than even the average family based petition.

It's common knowledge that the whole immigration process here in the USA needs a complete overhaul.

Active duty personnels are not "Veterans", active duty only get their N400 processed faster nothing else. But for those who think Veterans should get in line just like everyone you are wrong  , you should get in line at the recruiters office to be shipped to Iraq and maybe Iran and Syria next not to talk about North Korea, Vets deserve any benefits they can get 'cos their services is the only thing that has kept this country to still be standing  . For most timelines I checked on K1 for Iraqis and Cubans they were faster than everyone else not sure about other applications. For those who think Veterans should get in line just like everyone Go to Walter Reed and other miltary medical facilities and see, that will make you think this here is nothing to what military guys deserve. End of story

veterans didn't get obliged to get in line in the recruiters office.. end of the story.. it's bad though that the military is not taking enough care of its people, like your mention of the walter reed facility.. they deserve the right facilities, care, and money.. but get a special line on the USCIS, ain't related to the military, they don't love more tha any other citizen, or deserve a wife/husband more than any other good ole USC

Special line with USCIS is not related to the military right but dont you consider N400 acceleration for active duty as going thru special line Pedroh? When I got my citizenship I waited just like everyone even though I could have done it the miliary way but this is a blog people and dont get ignorant Tmma or whatever you called yourself. If I 'm preaching to the choir just put a block in your ears if you dont wanna hear it or listen to metallic.:dance: or shoot yourself. End of story.

Don't get ignorant? You're the douchebag telling a VETERAN to shoot herself.

So much for your 'Veterans Deserve Everything' angle...when YOU can't even act like a civilized human being.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

I was going to write a response, but then Lisa summed it up beautifully with

End of story.

Liefde is een bloem zo teer dat hij knakt bij de minste aanraking en zo sterk dat niets zijn groei in de weg staat

IK HOU VAN JOU, MARK

.png

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

Who ever you are-you are preaching to the choir-done my service I AM a veteran. I do not feel that MY overseas duty for my country, subsequent injury and resultant retirement automatically afforded me preferential treatment over everyone else when it came to me CHOOSING to marry a foreign national after I retired ...sheesh.

As for the way vets are treated every step of their way-I am very well aware-I live it every day.

Are you the USC, btw?

ETA-Please show me a fast family based visa timeline for a beneficiary in Iraq, please, coz I can't find one that wasn't held up in AR for ages.

I started a topic for people to read and respond but Tmma decided to pass an insult "Who ever you are-you are preaching to the choir", so I dont regret my comment but no one read that. I I did think before I wrote my response and as for Lisa no comment because I didnt create this topic to start another WAR maybe next time Tmma would check his smart comment to me or say nothing. End of Story LEGS.
