Anybody know about the 12 week waiting for the London US Embassy?? Is that true or not?

Has anyone had any experience with the London Embassy and knows if they waited ages or was it roughly just a month from NVC sending the file until the interview date?

Although I was on a K1 and not a CR/IR-1, I have just been issued with my visa, and it was pretty much dead on 12 weeks from the US Embassy in London receiving the case from NVC to my interview date.
