the concept of 'worrying' for a whole group is usually a charade lol.. human beings are selfish.. and we try to help ourselves only, but we disguise it with 'its unfair to all of us' instead of 'its unfair for me'..

Interesting theory, I think it is probably 90% true.

But there is always going to be a small minority of idealists who will care for the greater good. There always has been and always will be. Maybe one person out of 1000.

franky A. Smith.. I dont think we have a Che Guevara among ourselves.. they are worried about their visa and they try to disguise it as 'what happened to OUR rights' instead of being honest and say 'whats happening to MY MY visa'.. pff..

besides.. today its the Illegals.. tomorrow, some embassy in Somewhere-stan is gonna start approving cases in 2 days, and people are gonna fuss about it too

and I firmly believe that you need to take action about issues. If there was no one who did this, how would anything get changed or fixed? I'm not an idealist, but I feel that if something sparks my interest or makes me feel passionately about something I should do something about it. And I should do my best to enlist volunteers to help the cause.

Actually I think it does effect everyone who went through the visa process to be together. Some of us might not care about what is going on, but it does effect us. It should be a concern for people who are going the legal route to get their loved ones here.

Sujeet couldn't even visit this country before going through the K1 visa process because he was from a developing country and was not rich and therefore denied a tourist visa. If he would have snuck in, he would have been in big trouble. And so it is very irritating to see people who are here illegally who are wanting certain things that they are not entitled to. I sympathize with some of the reasons why there are illegal immigrants here, but I think it's a joke that they are out protesting.

Rule of thumb for B2 visas from India... if you're not wealthy OR if you haven't traveled to the US before on a different visa and returned on time... then don't bother... they won't issue :(

I know it, maybe Indians should be protesting:whistle: :P , they should say "since we don't live on the border of the US we cannot sneak in, and you won't let us visit there legally, booo!"

 And just because some of our SO's have green cards already...what about lifting conditions...naturalizing? We all still have to go through those processes (if choosing to naturalize)....we aren't done with USCIS just because there is a break in the paperwork merry-go-round.

Desis should protest the fact that India doesn't border the US.

They'd work to make it happen...:lol:
