Hello All

I see that many people are who are getting their EAD's/AP's, or people who are getting RFE's get emails and online updates. I am curious if anyone filing around or after the fee increase time has been getting touches on the AOS applications? e.g. biometrics etc. I am just mildly curious if this is a case of USCIS being too busy to update the online system, or if its a case of individual files not having been touched. I know its normal for applications not to be touched at all, but based on timelines i see that many cases got touched after biometrics etc before this fee increase rush: whereas I havent seen anyone report a touch since (aside from AOS/EAD or RFE's)

Im wondering how many people got a touch also. I filed in mid July and received my NAO1 shortly thereafter but have had no action going on since then. I also heard that things may start slowing down due to the diversity lotter that started 10/2 but not for certain. I filed for the fiancee visa I 129F so that make a difference also.

i never got any touches on my I-130 but last week i received the NOA2 saying it was approved and i have an nvc case # but the website for the USCIS where you enter your reciept # still says we received this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location.

Nothing much going on with my status online as well. I was so glad that when I received my NOA for I-485, I was able to check online right away, but since then, nothing's new. The last time they updated my case was 9/06, nada since then to think that I had my Biometrics and received an RFE and was able to send it back to them. ;)

Muraari,

I filed AOS package same time you did. Check my signature below for touches and dates.

AOS was touched a few days after they got RFE back but nothing changed. And nothing since.

EAD and AP... things started happening yesterday.

To me it looks like all they do is different from case to case. I look at the fast timelines of other people and just hope that mine will follow sooner rather than later. Here is to you and your darling seeing touches and positive changes very soon!

We got our 485 NOA on June 20....

We are using the DORA program - Since that time, we completed the Biometric appt and we have already had our interview (With DORA, it's first....although they can request another). All with nary a peep on the on-line status - no touches.

I should say that we also files for our EAD at the same time - Had the Biometric appt. at the same time of the AOS and went directly to approved and had the card in hand - all within 52 days. Due to the speed, the EAD also had no touches - just changed to approved.

Keep the faith and hang on. Here's hoping we all have good news very soon!!
