Hi everyone! Invitation letter is nice but bottomline is they will have to show they can pay their own way. Your affidavit of support doesn't count.

They have to prove that they have valid reasons for them HAVING to return to their country!

May be different in your country but that's the way it is in the Philippines.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

My fams are from Philippines too, however have been living in UAE for the past 15 years. I guess UAE & Philippines has similar tourist visa requirements such as Bank Statements, Properties etc....

anyways, Salamat....

Hi, I'm from Indonesia and I just heard similar case like yours from a friend of mine in Indonesia. Her parents want to visit her for a short one and the embassy reject their visa application because they bring "too much" of evidence from US side. Though they ever travelled to US, that doesn't help much! (usually embassy granted visa easily to people that ever travelled to US).

Bring evidence of attachment to home country would be good, that's showing them that your family does intend it to be a short visit, not moving here.

Good luck!
