I am a U.S citizen and applied for my husband. His interview was yesterday at the dhaka , embassy. The consulate said they are satisfied with all the documents but it was denied under 221 (g) blue paper saying the following remarks apply in ur case....just additional processing not administrative review. we will contact u as soon as we receive the result. They only kept the original marriage certificate and photocopies of other documents. Can anyone tell me what this means? how long will this additional processing take? should i contact the dhaka embassy regarding this? Please let me know if any of u have similiar case. Thanks

What consulate? Your profile lacks details like visa type, and foreign country. I look at your timeline to get this data to formulate an answer and get the same.

People cannot help and answer questions accuracy with out the details filled in.

" I was the same boat and got visa after 11 months. It is difficult to say how long may 2 months to 1 years. If your paper is genuine and you are not terrorist than you will get visa but may takes time"
