The 3 approvals from CSC are not by word of mouth.

If you base it on when the 129F date was sent, you will get that figure. But if you base it on NOA1 date, then of course the numbers are a lot higher. It's more accurate to base it on the "129F date sent" rather than the NOA1 date because the NOA1 date could really vary. NOA1 could be received by the filer 2 days, 2 weeks, or 2 months after sending out their petition. If you try it based on when the 129F was sent, you'll see that there were only 3 October filers approved.

I know that all this wait is driving everyone crazy and with the lack of approvals last week, it's demoralizing. It's really testing my patience as well (and I'm known for having patience of a saint). I really wish CSC could get their act together and start cranking out a LOT more approvals, at least catch up to VSC.

Good luck to everyone and I'm praying for a speedy approval for all of us.

I see your point. My bad. But it just seems to me, personally, that the NOA1 date is a hard number. It's the date that the petition is actually in the hands of the USCIS. The time in transit, from the time sent to the date of NOA1, is realy in the hands of the US Mail. Some of us may have used fedex and overnighted. Some may have went two or three day priority with fedex. And still others may have went with standard US mail.

Anyway, I just feel that the receipt date is the start of when the USCIS ACTUALLY has access to the petition.

But I do agree that this whole thing is putting a strain on all of us. And I apologize if I stepped on anyones toes.

This waiting is ridiculous. One would think since they raised the rates u would get better service. The VSC seems to have their act together. Whats wrong with the CSC? Too much California Dreaming going on i guess.

I see your point as well. But a some filers enter the "received date" from their notice on the "NOA1 date" and some enter their "notice date". My received date on my notice is 10/31/07 and my notice date is 11/5/07.

This whole process is very frustrating and it really takes a toll on everyone. Especially when we see VSC approving October, November, and December filers (yes, December). I saw one Dec filer from VSC...approved after 60 days. It doesn't seem fair that CSC filers have to wait so much longer than VSC filers, since we all had to pay the increased fee, but all we can really do is wait and keep our chins up. The agonizing wait....Ugh.

Let's just all keep in mind that we, too, will have our day!!

Yes I indeed look the searches up by sent date.Simply because there have been ppl sendig their petitions weeks before they get NOA1 and in my eyes an October Filer only is an October Filer when he /she sent the paperwork in OCTOBER.

By God I wish there were 27 October Filers approved from CSC..........

You just looked at it different than I did.Anya I'm the first one to admit that I'm stressed out at the moment.........This whole process is driving me crazy.........

We had to wiat very very long to even be able to put the papers in (due to a never ending Divorce even though they were living seperate and apart in different States ever since 2001!) and now I'm simply worn out.........

I didn't mean to be rude........

Just desperate and worn out at this point. There seems to be more and more we have to go through. Now it seems that we need a Co Sponsor even though my SO makes more than 6000$ a month, but since his TAXABLE Income is only 21000$ for last year we got a problem.......

Just found out about that this passed weekend,so I really wasn't in the best of moods.

It just seems to never end...........
