MY TIMELINE - CR1

I-130

01/15/07 - I-130 sent.

02/13/07 - NOA1

02/16/07 - NOA1 via snail mail.

05/01/07 - NOA2

NVC

05/23/07 - NVC receives petition and case # assigned.

06/18/07 - Form DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) & AoS bill generated.

06/19/07 - E-mailed choice of agent using James' shortcut.

06/21/07 - Mailed AOS bill via overnight mail using James' shortcut.

06/27/07 - NVC e-mails back accepting Choice of Agent

07/02/07 - IV bill generated.

07/14/07 - Received IV bill via snail mail

07/16/07 - Mailed IV bill back via overnight mail.

07/19/07 - I-864 received via snail mail

07/20/07 - Mailed I-864 via overnight mail.

07/23/07 - Payment for IV bill entered into the system

07/31/07 - DS-230 generated.

08/13/07 - Received DS-230 coversheet via snail mail.

08/14/07 - Mailed DS-230 packet to NVC via overnight mail (didn't use James' shortcuts).

08/16/07 - DS-230 info entered in NVC's system.

08/27/07 - CASE COMPLETE!!!

09/16/07 - US Embassy (Manila) receives petition papers

10/29/07 - INTERVIEW at US EMBASSY MANILA, PHIL - APPROVED!!

10/30/07 - Visa pick-up at Manila Embassy

11/10/07 - POE at Minneapolis, MI

What do you guys know about Minneapolis as Port of Entry? Any information will be appreciated... Thanks!!

That's my POE and the immigration officer was really nice to me. You can tell that they really know what they're supposed to do to you. It only took less than 10 mins for them to get my fingerprints/picture taken, little interview, checked the yellow envelope and stamp my passport. It was a breeze! :thumbs:

05/10/2011 - Case Status Notification - Interview scheduled

05/14/2011 - Interview Appointment Letter in the mail

06/29/2011 - Case Status Notification - Placed in the oath scheduling que

08/16/2011 - Case Status Notification - Oath ceremony scheduled

09/15/2011 - Oath Taking - good riddance!

10/08/2011 - Passport in the mail

10/17/2011 - Certificate of Naturalization in the mail -- OFFICIALLY DONE!

I had a wonderful welcome at Minneapolis. I think the key, if it's busy, is to let someone know that you're activating your K-1 visa, and they'll put you right up to the front of the line. See my brief review on my timeline.
