Woo-hoo! I just got an email this morning saying that my AP has been approved. Yay! Kelly and I had been hoping that my AOS would have been approved before now so that we wouldn't have to file additional paperwork but since we found out that we are stuck in the name check black hole we decided to just bite the bullet and then file for the AP. This means we can now get back to the UK for Christmas which will really please my Momma! All in all the AP took 32 days to approve. Now to find some cheap flights...

Wowee!!! Those increase-in-fees-equals-faster-processing threats might be true after all! Or maybe they realized that they were causing extra workload for themselves due to people having to request emergency AP because they hadn't received their AP in time. Say! This may even lead to them rethinking their whole process on not allowing K-1'ers to leave the country until after they've adjusted status! Nah. That would be too much to ask.

Congratulations on the quick AP, LondonGooner!!

Congrats! I'm very hopeful that we'll get ours that quickly. We want to travel in January, but are really waiting to hear from the senator about his AOS.

Two questions: did you apply online or send it in? Did you send any additional information besides what they ask for? (We were thinking of sending a copy of the visa and a copy of his UK passport page)
