Met on Yahoo Messenger April 2004 It was my lunch break in the office and waiting for 1:00 pm to start my work again I decided to log on to Romance 30's Love and someone suddenly pop-up a message if Im looking for a boyfriend he he he of course I said no but actually hoping

I thought it was just a game and everyday we chat while Im working... of course I hide it from my japanese boss. Good thing my work requires me to stay all day on PC so nobody suspects I'm also chatting and I owe it to my fingers  needed to type faster and hide the ym window all the time. Aside from daily chat at work I also go to internet cafe during weekends for few hrs to see him in webcam. After 1 year of chatting he finally decided to visit me in the Philippines for 2 weeks vacation then followed by another 4 months stay with formal engagement.

After a year I'm here with his arms and now 21 weeks pregnant. I can't really say it was an easy journey but through our prayers and patience 3 years later we are now together and cannot be separated, if he leaves the house I go with him everywhere except work and sometimes I go there for a surprise with a mirienda or dinner (L):D

We met by chance in an online chatroom in July 2004. I had my new laptop just set up and was surfing around checking it out. Popped into a chatroom and started chatting with Aimee. She was in Bayawan. Waiting for her son to get out of pre-school and popped into an internet cafe to spend a few minutes. Exchanged emails for a couple months before chatting more regularly. One year and 5 months later, I flew there to spend some time with her. I flew her into Manila to meet me. Spent a couple hours at the hotel talking before we had to head back to the airport to catch the first flight to Dumaguete, then a taxi to Bayawan. This waas the week between Christmas and New Years. Lots of activities including founders week. Met her family, proposed, had a pamalaye. Returned the first week of January. Filed the I-129F. Nine months later, she arrived in Minneapolis. Three weeks later we married and have been on our honeymoon ever since.

David and I met thru CB... It was out of curiousity that I signed up there since all my customers at the internet cafe where I used to work log on to that everyday. After being a member for 1 week, I was ready to cancel my account because I was getting bored of the same boring messages that I was getting from my daily matches. I stopped logging on thinking that my profile's been removed when one day, I received a message from David. I was really surprised because I thought I cancelled my account already. When I checked his profile, my heart was beating so fast, hands were shaking and was so excited. I never felt that way before so I knew right then and there that he's the one that I've been waiting for all my life. After exchanging letters and pictures everyday using our personal email addresses (for 3 months), we've decided to finally meet in person. He flew to the Philippines. That first meeting, there were sparks everywhere and we really hit it off. It's like a movie scene where we were running towards one another and then we stopped, stared, hugged and kissed where everyone's watching us. After introducing him to my family and friends and having great times together, it didn't take long for him to decide and ask me if I want to be his wife because we both felt like we've known each other all our lives. When his vacation was over and he had to go back here in US, I didn't fear that things will change because I have his promises in my heart and a ring to remind me of those promises. After 6 months of separation, he came back and we talked, planned and worked on my paperwork to get the K1 visa. We didn't rush things because we wanted to make sure that everything will happen according to God's will. And it did. It's like everything fell right into places. Being married to him is my greatest dream and fulfillment in life. Looking back now, it makes me bow my head and thank the Lord for all the things that He blessed us with. Who would have thought that I will be one of the living proofs that internet relationship has happy ending? Here I am, with David each and every day and night... happy, contented and in love!(L):luv:

A little history.

I used to be a huge internet junky. When I was younger I was always online in chatrooms making friends. I made friends with a woman years ago that was like an older sister to me and she was from the Philippines. She was a government employ with the DILG (Department of interior and local governments). We stayed friends for many years.

Current.

I was six months out of my last relationship and was talking with my friend from the Philippines. She started introducing me to all her co-workers just helping me make new friends. Male and female alike; I was just enjoying the experience. Then I was introduced to Mae-mae(her common nickname). As we spoke I found myself amazed by this woman. From then on we spoke daily. No matter how long. I felt myself slipping. About a month later I received a text from her in which you stated that she loved me. I could have passed out then. She had said what I was afraid to say. I started planning my trip. I made it to her about 6 months after meeting. I finally got the paperwork fully situated and submitted about 2 months later. And now we're finally at the very end of this long struggle. I haven't touched her in 8 months and it'll be more than 9 by the time she gets here.

I miss you baby.

We met through an academic forum hosted by UC Berkeley. We never thought we'll be getting along so well. Up to this date, we are still in awe. The first months were mainly online discussions. I was so nervous about meeting someone off the net, only to realize later on that all the risks were very much worth it. Had we not pursued talking & emailing each other regularly on the net, we still think we would have still met here in the bay area. WE feel we're meant to meet anyway. We thank God everyday for matching us up.

My fiancé first saw me in one of business meeting. He wants to talk to me but he finds it inappropriate. Instead he checked the attendance sheet of such business conference and checked on my contact number.

You think he called me? Well.. NO.. :D

Luckily, he saw me in the Phils Embassy – Bahrain. I went there to interview 2 “run-away” Filipinas for a job in the company I used to work there. As soon as the 2nd Filipina left the room, he came inside. He smiled & greeted me. He invited me to participate on this small party they organized to help those 75 “run-away” Filipinos. So, I accepted the invitation & helped them in distributing these small packages.

When I told him that I need to go ..He then invited me for a coffee. He asked me if I’m interested on some more charitable projects. I said “its fine” and popped up a funny punch line

“As long as I’m not the sponsor of it”.

That time I was only 6 months old in Bahrain & don’t know other Filipino besides my 3 colleagues. I though that its one way to divert my non-working days into a productive one instead of staying in my flat & thinking of Phils.

On the latter part of our coffee session, I realized that he was asking me personal questions already. So I asked him..”Are you courting me?” He said “Yes” & his face blushed…then I laughed.:lol::lol:

After 1 ½ months of consistent dating (dinner & coffee) I sad “ Yes”.

Met my husband at yahoo chatroom 7 yrs ago (June 00). I just learned how to chat and he's foreigner that I've talked to. Initially we were friends echanging emails for two yrs and I don't even like him because I find most Americans "cocky" especially him. We stopped talking for 6 mos then one day I got a forwarded email from him and on a whim I sent back an email asking how he is.

We started talking again. This time it was different we spend long hours talking about our lives and we get drawn to each other. In 04 his son went to Iraq and he couldn't come to the Phils. for a visit he said he'll wait for his son to come back from Iraq. Then that Summer he and his friends went to Sturgis for a bike rally. He met a vietnamese who he said looks like me (from the pics). To cut the long story short he broke off with me and had a relationship with the vietnamese. We didn't stop talking tho'.

Summer 05 he kicked the Vietnamese to the curb and decided to see me Jan 06. It has been a happy beginning since the day we met. We've never been so happy in our lives than being together. Tho' it was a long journey almost 7 yrs before we finally get married. It's worth the wait and all the troubles I've been through. Couldn't ask for more.

We are the living proof of this filipino saying "sa hinaba haba man ng prusisyon sa simbahan din ang tuloy" no matter how long the procession is it will still end in church (tama ba translation ko hehehehe).

I was browsing through the profiles on cupid.com one night. I happened upon the beautiful picture of a user called Pinay. I read her statistics, but did not send a message, because she lived too far away (profile said Montana, I'm in California). A couple hours later I received a wink from her. Since she showed an interest and her picture was so captivating, I sent a message, and she replied. I then found out it was from her sister in Montana, and the girl in the picture lived in the Philippines. After many emails between the sister and I describing myself and "Pinay", I was already in love with her. I sent her a letter, flowers, and a videotape of myself in a video story I created. It wasn't until a month later that I heard back from her. We then commenced phone texting and letters, and I went to visit her and her family after 6-months. I proposed after the 3rd day there, and as others have said, the rest is history.
