Even if you had the choice between "undoing" your wedding, it would be best to go with the truth. Especially if you feel you have red flags in the first place.

I think as long as people have seen you interact with each other, can write letters to that regard, that will be helpful. Do you speak the same language? Send those copies of your passport pages showing entry into Nepal.

G'luck!

Pingo and Onesuite.com both give me trouble with making a decent connection to Nigeria. The calls get suddenly disconnected or they give me a busy signal when he's not on the phone. There have been many times where i went days w/out talking to him because of this. I just switched to www.peezy.com and its been soooo much better. They also keep a history. The rates are good for me but I'll pay anything as long as I can have a decent uninterrupted conversation with him at this point.

Also.. I added him as beneficiary to my life insurance and my pension. We have a baby together so I'm not overly concerned with proving bona fide marriage although I heard that the consulate in Nigeria occasionally requires DNA tests.

Divine Mercy,

Thanks for the info abt Pingo. I will try Peezy and see what their rates to Nepal are. It is so hard period to get a decent phone connection to Nepal that generally we just email and IM - even when we do get through to each other it's generally so unclear and staticky that it's hard to exchange sweet nothings - usually it's just 'WHAAAT???? HUH? I LOVE YOU - BYE...' :(

I too would pay more if at least once a week I could have an uninterrupted, CLEAR conversation with Govi.
