Have you received NOA1 or a biometrics appointment yet for the AOS?

Or had a interview?

Correct your timeline is incomplete, how can we get an understanding of your situation without details.

Well, the processing dates for CSC show 6 months for AOS, so you're still well within the window.

The processing times for I-485 at CSC are for employment-based applications, not family based. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the processing times mean nothing for family based applications. Some people are more fortunate than others and are approved within a few months while others are stuck in Limbo for years.

If your last touch was on June 14th, then clearly you know how to check your case status online and see if you've been touched, right?

There are tons of applications that are not touched and suddenly approved while others are touched numerous times. They don't necessarily mean anything as a touch could mean your case was moved from one desk to another. Also the online status is hardly ever reliable as it seems they sometimes have problems updating everyone's status.

I'm sure they haven't forgotten your application. As I said in my previous post, some people are approved within a few months while other wait years...

When was your application transfered to CSC?

There are ways to call them, but the best of the them is to call the mis-information line and get them to transfer you. But you have ot have a good reason and be well beyond normal processing times.

Karlyandbruce:

How do you know that the I485 processing times at CSC are only for employment based changes of status? Not doubting you at all, just want to know how you found that out. Certainly bursts my bubble, as I thought that 6 mo. was the guideline!

Thing is...they don't explain it either way...simply says I485 on the processing times page.

Go here and scroll down to I-485

Under the third column titled "Classification or Basis for Filing" it states: "Employment-based adjustment applications" :)
