Okay, anyone that knows me here knows that I had quite a battle getting my husband here, and that he finally got here last December.

At one time they had lost our I-129F petition, but they processed the I-130 faster. They eventually found it and sent it to Casa 2 years ago in December. So I get an e-mail from them that states the following:

The last processing action taken on your case

Receipt Number: XXXXXXXXXXXX

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On December 5, 2005, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this

I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the

notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Who gives a ####### about it? He came over on an immigrant visa anyway. Anyone else get anything weird?

u know, they really should keep in touch when it comes to different petitions.... maybe a link in the name or something that will show any/all petitions that have been filed for tha tparticular person. Maybe it wouldn't take so long if one petition office knew what th eother was doing... all that time could have been spent on someone in waiting instead of someone whose SO was already here... dang them!! Hey, at least u know u were approved!

Come to think of it, mine came on CR-1 and I think a bit after he got here we got a simlar letter....not surprising......

Hi Trish,

I wanted to let you know we got the very same email last night, not once but twice stating the very same thing. We are in the middle of removing conditons and thought it was to that. but NO, it was on our I129F 2 years ago which took longer than the CR1, which the CR1 is what moh came on also. We couldnt believe it either, as it has been 2 years. The petition has expired anyways. Crazy! I wonder if they had a programming problem and it just now sent a lot of emails out at once.

Gave us a laugh for sure!

Lisa

So true, they are running things so screwy there. All of these people still waiting and they are sending us notices. They need someone in there that can make their system work smoother. What a waste of everyones time and tax payers money. I know if a private business ran this way it wouldn't last a year. Talk about job security!

Hey Lisa.....nice to see you here! Hope all is well.
