It's pretty hard to do when in nearly every thread some sort of analogy is drawn to illegal immigration. I think some people are downright obsessed.

Hot kitchens and black kettles come to mind!

What?

Are you saying I'm obsessed with illegal immigration? Hardly.

Cant take the heat get out of the kitchen!

The pot calling the kettle black!

Its not about YOU at all!

Okie dokie then. Clear as mud.

I love that idea. Maybe next month we can do a moratorium on global warming threads

Sounds like a good plan to me. I think you'd be surprised as to who's posting more on those two topics than who you might think.

I think your opinion, humor and your experience is always welcome here. You believe in what you believe and speak your mind. Just that some don't agree with you. Some disagree very strongly . Perhaps a good idea but I dont think a moratorium will last though. The best thing may be respectfully is just look the other way.

Exactly, if its bothering you to much, just dont get involved in the immigration discussions.

I agree-

If you can't handle the heat stay out of the kitchen, If you want to place a Moritorium on Your personal participation in immigration topics then by all means do so.

I think it is a real issue that effects all of us especially those here who have spouses that are legally trying to obtain their GC and EAD through legal means, and are obeying the law, yet still are seperated from one another or waiting months even years for Visa or GC & have been shelling out 100's - 1000's of $$ to go through the immigration process legally. While other inconsiderate law breakers leach off of the US tax payers and Invade our country, enter illegally and then whine about wanting special treatment or claim to have a sense of entitlement.

Then we can touch on those USA citizens/ legal residents who live with out Health insurance or have to pay higher insurance costs mostly due to the invasion of Illegal Immigramnts draining the resources and socal services. How about the continued decline in education standards for legal residents/ citizens because these ancghor babies of illegals are laced into public schools un prepared when thier illegal parents do not PUT 1 penny into the system yet demand their children be givne extra attention or lenainacy in testing ect..

If you want to place a Moritorium on Your personal participation in immigration topics then by all means do so. You won't get those who feel strongly for their rights & strongly AGAINST ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTION to stop posting their beliefs.

Very well put! What I find rather hypocritical is that some people dont give a rats ### about breaking into the country but if someone breaks into there house they get pissed. whats the difference?

The difference is I don't consider the entire country my personal property.

I think it is patriotic urging your country to be EVEN BETTER through constructive critic. Or just saying hey, things are changing in the world, don't you think it's time to review this or such?.

You may disagree or agree on what would make things even better, but that's another issue, and the whole reason to open the lines of communication.

(just an outsider's point of view)
