I dug out a couple. First one is when I was about 1 1/2 and the other when I was 3. I don't have any baby pics of my hubby.

ALJ.jpganni2.jpg

I love these, especially the one with you two and the bean bag chair.

God I loved that bean bag chair! My parents eventually got rid of it because me and my brother poked little holes it in and there were micro styrofoam balls everywhere. Ya gotta love the pretty mustard yellow furniture too. ;)

Bean bag chairs have it over inflatable furniture any day.

Hubby and I are now the proud owners of the mustard yellow sofa and chair of my own childhood -- but with less frightening slipcovers now. (The poor man still hasn't laid eyes on my green 1967 canvas-sided popup camper yet. :luv: He's gonna learn to love that sofa when the camper comes out of storage.)

I'm the USC.

11/05/2007........Conditional permanent residency effective date.

08/08/2009........Our son was born <3

08/08/2009........Filed for removal of conditions.

12/16/2009........ROC was approved.

Hope you got the zigzag knitted afghan in the background too! Every home should have one.

I confess that I do have a brown and goldenrod crocheted one that my cousin made (it hasn't seen daylight for a few years). And I've made a couple myself, one in rasta colors from my college days. My sister-in-law has given us some gorgeous stuff that she embroidered. I think she's going to have to find a place for that afghan, or I may just start over and make her something a little less...bright...

This is further off topic, but why are people slapping huge, chromed wheels on these enormous, late-70s-early-80s, gas-guzzling "grandparent" cars that we tried not to be seen in when they were new?

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Uhhh.... anybody else note that more than the technology has changed? In other words, what parent in their right mind today would allow their toddler to be that close to blades and engines? Especially with Dad paying no attention to little fingers and toes while he's tinkering with the engine? :o:lol:

GREAT pictures, Peejay! Someone in your family had an artistic eye.

Those are awesome. There's a quality to B&W photos that is incomparable.

After my parents died, I inherited boxes and boxes of family photos dating back to the mid 1800's. I scanned hundreds of them to high quality JPEG and put them in folders that identify who, what, when, and organized them for future generations.

This is a baby photo of my dad taken in 1926 with his uncle on the family farm in northern Oklahoma. This photo was taken 81 years ago!

There have been quite a lot of shutterbugs in our family over the years. It must be genetic. I have inherited this bad habit too. ;)
