Update regarding missing package received 08/01/07

I submitted AOS, EAD, and AP for myself and AOS, and AP for my son 07/28/07 via UPS old fees received by USCIS on 08/01/07. As my checks had not been cashed I made an infopass appointment for 09/20/07 and they put through a request for my package to be tracked. They didn't have an answer for me until 8:10am this morning. USCIS is accepting my application but not my sons .. they are sending it back due to lack of signature. I made a huge mistake on both AOS and AP for him.. I only signed where it says Part 5 - Signature of person preparing form because he is only 9 years old. I should have signed also where it says Applicants Certification. I'm going to try and scramble today to re-collect his information from the Civil Surgeon and resend the package. My poor little guy needs to be able to go back to Canada for Christmas.
