At long last, my wife has her interview for the K-3 visa on November 13. Every day we talk two times a day, and often use the word "soon", but now "soon" has a date. I go to China on November 10, accompany her to Guangzhou, anxiously await the interview results, and... being as optimistic as we are... she comes to the USA on the November 20 flight that has already been booked and paid for.

Incidentally... althought this interview is for the K-3 visa, the file for the CR-1 visa has been approved and was forwarded to Guangzhou early in September. So I have emailed the Consulate and asked that the interview be for the CR-1 visa instead of the K-3 visa as both files are there. After their Chinese National Day holiday this next week, I hope to get a response. Will keep you posted. I am floating on Cloud 9!

Congratulations! I hope that my husband will get an interview soon. In November 2006, I filed a K-3 petition. I know that you will be able to sleep better.
