Need some advice please. My 2 year conditional card expires Jan 27 2008 - so I need to know when to put in my application and what forms are needed. I visited the USCIS website but, as usual, it is as clear as mud :) We live in Austin, Tx and our nearest office is San Antonio which is where I had to visit for my original Green Card.

It's been a while since I have visited Visa Journey but this site successfully guided us through the whole K1 process and I know there is a lot of knowledge and experience out there.

I'm originally from Dorset in the UK, have been living in Austin, Texas and (ridiculously) happily married to my Texan for 2 years and 4 months now (L) (was previously JaneC username). I have a great job and could not be happier with the lifestyle we have. If anyone has questions about other stuff leading up to now, happy to answer/advise. I know there are many successful Visa Journey couples out there, would love to hear from you also!

Thanks in advance for any help & advice and it brings back lots of memories logging on here again!

Here's a start!

You can/should apply to remove conditions and get a 10 year GC within 90 days of your current GCs expiration date.

Read the instructions on form I-751. They pretty much cover what you will need to prove a bonafide marriage.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Form I-751 is the form you need. You will be sending it to Texas, who will promptly transfer you (based on recent VJ'ers experience) to California. Do not fret! This is a good thing for you, as CSC is trotting along very well at the moment. From what I have seen so far, most RFE's during this part of the process are due to either insufficient evidence in general, or insufficient evidence of co-mingling of assets/liabilities. There are many threads in this section discussing lists of evidence, I suggest you take a look at them for ideas. :) Best wishes to you for a smooth process.

Thank you - I appreciate you taking the time to reply. I'll get researching & gathering (again!). Thanks again.
