A question for veterans ..

my case was entered into NVC and i am waiting for DS 3032 to be generated, they will mail my wife in india the form that she has to fill, i have heard on the forum people sending either email or generating their own barcode and sending downloaded form once the NVC message says that 3032 is generated.

People who have gone through the process recently, can you please share what method did you use , and if NVC accepted it without any problems.

Also no matter what method you used, do you always have to send them the original form.

reply is appreciated..

Tx in advance

I had my husband download the form, signed and sent it to me. As soon as I learned that my DS3032 was generated, I mailed it Express mail with my own generated barcode pasted on the form. Mine was entered in the system just days after receipt.

great, so looks like NVC doesnt mind people sending own forms or sending mails. tx for the reply.

You are welcome!

Actually, mailing the DS3032 is the acceptable way by NVC. The only time that they actually accept DS3032 Choice of Agent via email is when the form is lost in transit (or never received the DS3032 packet). Also, emailing the DS3032 was considered to be part of James Shortcut as it did worked for most of the VJers. In my case, there was a huge backlog with NVC's email inquiries that's why I rather sent mine via mail.

tx again rina, so the bar code generator from james shortcut is safe to use, it should be pretty much same as what NVC would generate, correct ?
