Hello everyone,

I would like to ask what is the best place to stay in boracay? We plan to go there after my interview .... Any help is highly appreciated..

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask what is the best place to stay in boracay? We plan to go there after my interview .... Any help is highly appreciated..

In Apr 06, Mahal ko and I went to Boracay and stayed at the Lorenzo South. It's the last resort on the beach (I think) or maybe its just so quiet that it seemed that way. Regardless, its near Boatstation 3.

We stayed in one of their Deluxe rooms, which were right on the beach and had beautiful views of the sand and ocean right outside the door. We thought the facilities were great and got both room service and ate at the on-beach dining area. The staff was friendly and courteous and the room (and facilities) seemed to be well maintained.

I think it caters to more of the couples (or quiet family) crowd which is part of why we picked it. Its pricier than some of the others, which makes it unappealing for the divers and low-budget couples and families. They don't have a whole lot of "extras" and a very small bar area, which also makes it unattractive to those looking for a "good time". Mahal ko got a massage there, which came free as part of the package we got and she really liked it.

My sweetheart and I stayed at Jony's Beach Resort during both our trips to Boracay and really enjoyed it. It's a smaller place right on the beach. Nothing fancy, but it is clean, fairly well maintained and not terribly expensive compared to some there. I think it was about 80$ per night there with free breakfast included, but its off season now so its probably cheaper. You can find them on the web in any sight that sells hotels for the PI. I used travelmart.net the first time and asiatravel.net the second time. Shop around because sometimes you can find better deals depending on the website.

We've been there last July and it was just awesome!!! :D My advice is that try not to do an advanced booking but look for a suitable place to stay there when you're there already (talk about a road trip!). Find nice hotels at the beachfront in between Station 1 and Station 2 - that's where all the gigs happen! And besides, you will not have any problem given that its off peak season today...

just my 2 cents... :D

i stayed at the regency, the beds are really big and the sheets are awesome they were so smooth! the decor was great and spotless, nice bathrooms and shower. however it is on the expensive side and I think staying in a smaller more intimate resort is better......................................
