There is no set deadline but it's best if you file as soon as you can. There have been some on here that waited more than a year. Not recommended though.

Wow you got engaged a week after you first met?

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

why would you want your husband to become a US citizen if you moved to nepal? I don't get this at all.

There really isn't a timeline but without LPR there isn't much your spouse can do so it is always good to file quickly

Something to consider: if you don't file for your spouse's AOS before the 90 days are up, then you just file an I-130 along with the AOS package. Meaning that they're no longer adjusting from a K-1 + their marriage to you, but just their marriage to you.

So far, so good. But what if the K-1 holder is bringing along a K-2? Might the K-2 be barred from adjusting status if the K-1 holder doesn't adjust via the K-1? Anyone know the answer?

This is not correct. You only file the I-130 if you marry outside of the 90 days allotted for K1 adjustees. I am thinking this is a bit off topic as according to the OP's signature they *are* married and did so within the 90 days.

The rest of this should probably be in its own topic.
