harpreet,

if u want to save time for your process its best for your husband (petitioner) in usa to be the agent!!!

as the postal is very delayed there in india its quicker for your husband to take care of forms to send back to the nvc...

i highly recommend ur husband to be the agent!!! so he can take care of fee's and everything here, theres no point of u taking care of things there and u have to send it here to usa

dimp

hi

When i received DS-3032.... NVC clearly says.. ... It is advised that the petitioner; who is a USC .. be the choice of address of agent for the proces...

If you become to choice of address of agent.... when the IV bill comes to you(if u decide to be the agent)... tell your wife to buy a money order in US / Cashiers check of a US bank.... then you sent the IV visa fee bill to her... she will then attach the money and mail it to NVC

I hope this helps

You can be the agent but I would recommend the USC to be the agent. IF you still want to be the agent then make sure you send the IV bill by the Indian government post so the USPS handle the post to send it to the right address. FedEx, UPS,DHL or any other private carriers can't deliver to PO box in the US. Only USPS can deliver to the PO box in the US. It is better to let the USC handle the situation.

Is there a Bank of America or any other bank in your city in India? you can call them to see if they can give you US moneyorder for paying the IV bill. In that case, I guess it should work .

good luck.
