If I was physically able to, I'd kick my own ###.

I sent off the DS230 and when I got home I noticed I still had the copy of my Passport in my purse.

D'oh!!!

guess I'll have to send that off tomorrow, as I don't wanna wait for RFE.

I am just not sure yet if I should overnight it so it's there before the DS230 or just send it ground.

Any suggestions??

The NVC is weird when it comes to items sent without the necessary cover sheet; they claimed not have gotten a BC from us because they had sent out two RFE's with the same checklist and only looked at half the documents we returned. Just wait for the RFE; it's unlikely they will match your passport copy to your file.

Permanent Green Card Holder since 2006, considering citizenship application in the future.

just spoke to an operator and she said I should just send it as I only sent the DS230 yesterday. She told me to send it to ATTN: DR instead of CMR, as they seem to be the ones to review this stuff.

I'll go out and send it and if they want to give me an RFE, I'll just overnight another one.

If you have found out that an RFE is generated, find out exactly what's required from an operator then self generate the response package using this example.
