I'm here as E-2 status, and just married to my girl friend who happens to be a citizen. I was just running trouble with my i-130 packet and i-485 packet.

I have a few question.

1. Since INS doesn't take any paperwork at their local office, when we have to send in i-130, do we include "evidences in the packet"??(love letters photos and etc)

2. Do you must file I-693 concurrently with I-485?? or can I file I-693 later on when they ask for it.

I was puzzled, because I was about to consult my lawyer for this, and he only asked just paperworks(no evidences, no medical examnation). He made it

sound like those things can be summited later. Should I just sumbt all of the following in one packet? or Can I sumbit the I-693 later on when they ask for it.

Will this delay the process?

Thank you for your time.

The i-485 says file the 693 with it, it is worth it to get everything turned in together.

If possible file the complete package including the I-693. Since you havent had any medical like most of us here you might receive a RFE which will hold up processing.

Usually you will take all the letters photos etc with you to the interview however, it wouldnt hurt to include maybe 2 photos and very minimal other evidence although again, not necessary at this stage.

Remember since you are filing both together, the I485 and i130, they both go to chicago.

This is a good guide.

Thank you so much for your reponses.

One more question though, on the form I-485 part 2, asks for application type.

On the example form, it was stated to put C, which is for people who entered United States with K-1 visas.

However, in my case, I have been living in U.S continously since 2000 on my parents E-2 visa. So what category do I fell in?

If i have to choose "h", which basically is to explain in words, what should I put?
