i have a co-sponsor to sponsor my fiancee.

first: is this the right form they should fill out?

second: "3. This affidavit is executed on behalf of the following person:"

is that asking for my fiancee's information? or sponsors information?

also where this asks for "Spouse" do I put my information? we are not married yet..

which brings up another question.. do i need to submit all this before getting married or get married first?

thanks in advance.

Greg,

Assuming you're the USC and are (or are about to) filing for a K1 - this would be your fiancé.

Try reading through the step-by-step guides first, then come back with any specific questions...

thanks that helps.

on the i 134 form there is this:

11. I

intend

do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in item 3.

(If you check "intend," indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions. For example, if you intend to furnishroom and board, state for how long and, if money,

what should my co sponsor check? intend or do not intend? the situation is we will not need anything from the co sponsor. no furniture / food / housing. it is all covered.

if they check do not intend is that a bad thing? will we still be able to get aproved?

is this form for the US Citizen or the alien fiancee?

Hi Greg. That fee is the amount that it costs to file the K-1 Fiance Petition. You can download and print the forms off here or on the USCIS website. It doesn't matter as long as it's an updated form. You need to fill out the papers, send in the $455, and then file. The G-325 form should be filled out for you and the alien fiance. You need to fill out all four forms for each of you. Also, the I-134 does not need to be filed at this time. That is sent in later around interview time. I want to advise you to read the guides before you fill anything out. It seems as if you haven't read up on this process enough. Good luck in your journey.

One, in quadruplicate for each of you. Please read the I-129F instructions that tell you what supporting documentation to file.

You and your joint sponsor each provide an I-134 but much later in the process. You do not include them with the petition. For 11. you can both simply check "Do Not".

You get married after she arrives in the US using the visa. Right now neither of you had better have a spouse, so the answer to that is "none".
