Though I'm still waiting to see what it will be like when my fiancee comes to live with me in my own home, I can say that she has made me think about my snoring in a totaly different way!!! I have shared my bed with other women, but my fiancee is the first one who resorted to EAR PLUGS!!!

Other than that, we love snuggling with each other and sleeping together. Without her, it's just not the same!

Most of the time we sleep together quite well.. i dont have an EAD or green card so I sleep a lot later than he does but usually otherwise its ok.. But I snore (bleah I hate that) and sometimes keep him awake, but then he'll go sleep on the couch.. He says he doesn't mind.. He also accuses me of being a blanket hog but I haven't noticed yet.. And we just have a double bed.. And his cat sometimes sleeps on the bed too.. and other kitties as well :)

I'm accused of being a sheet ninja. (Those who play WoW will understand the ninja reference)

LOL. :lol::thumbs:

My husband says I am a sheet and blanket ninja (yes, we play WoW). I am a small person but it don't matter. I have rolled myself up in our king-sized electric blanket more than once in the past 3 months.

We share a bed and it's usually fine even though we have very different schedules and the occasional nightly fights over blankets. However, I think it works so well only because we both have our own room and can sleep in two beds whenever we feel like it.

We have a Queen size though I wish it was a king (I'm 6'2 and it's just a teeny bit too short). Dan is a complete bed hog. I woke up one night to him saying move over I'm falling out of the bed. Lol he had his head on my pillow!!!!!

Dan does hog the sheets too. Luckly neither of us snore but Dan is a very heavy sleeper. He sleeps right through the alarm clock but he is adamant he won't let me sleep the side it is so I have to keep whacking him to turn it off and then he gets stroppy!!

He also at the beginning told me he couldn't get to sleep without the TV on. It would frustrate the hell out of me as the flashing and noise meant I couldn't sleep at all and I'd be laying there waiting for him to fall asleep and then I had to get up and turn the TV off. Needless to say I put a stop to that. He had really bizarre sleeping patterns he'd go to bed so late and then get up late and waste half of the day.

Lol anyway this is his last week of freedom before he has to move over and relinquish half the bed!!!

Oh plus we have 3 cats that want to cuddle (well Crumbs the kitten just wants to attack your feet which isn't fun!) and Blake the collie/lab cross that occasionally tries to get up there. Lol his new samoyed is definitely NOT being allowed up there!!!!

The most difficult thing is our different schedules. I am a teacher, so I'm always up early and James is still waiting for the EAD so he stays up later and gets up way later. We are always waking each other up, but most of the time its fine, the sleeping one of us will just say hi or bye and roll back over to sleep. I couldn't imagine not being in the same bed at this point.

Ditto.

I am an educator also :) I slept without him for so long that sleeping with him is the best thing in the world in my mind.

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

When I am visiting Luz we sleep in her twin bed! I love it because I get to use HER as a blanket!!! As you can see she is a lot smaller than I am so we fit together pretty good on a small bed. When she gets here we will use my queen size bed. I am hoping that we still sleep on top of each other! It feels so good to have her close!

I am a bed hog tho Ive curtailed my evil ways - Len's bed is a US King size so there's plenty of room for both of us - I like a lot of room even tho I'm not very big - so we have the best of both worlds - closesness when we want and space when we want. I hate turning over in bed and feeling like I'm about to fall out so I doubt we'll downsize on the bed front much, if at all.

As for the snoring/farting/whatever - its nothing compared to wriggly kids (who seem to want the entire bed when they share) so that never really troubles me

When we still lived in an apartment, we had a full sized bed and there were times I'd wake up so close to the edge that if either of us sneezed I'd be on the floor in no time.

As soon as we moved to our new house, hubby got a king-sized bed. I thought it was TOO big. But, as Rebecca said, it's great for non-sleeping activities!!

The great thing is that we still start off sleeping in "spoon" position and during the night we can roll around as we please without pushing the other off the bed. :)

I don't sleep well UNLESS my hubby is in bed with me. We have a queen sized bed, and we share it pretty well. The only time he ever complains is when my 6 year old comes into bed with us and hogs the bed and kicks him off

And in this queen sized bed every night we have me, him, my body pillow, and 2 kitties that curl up around my feet.

Sometimes he snores, sometimes he hogs the covers, sometimes he scoots over and hogs the bed if I get up to pee... but I love him and a good shove usually fixes all :P

We sleep together great also. I was miserable and could not sleep at all when he was in Mexico. We snuggle all night long. I don't know what I would do if I had to go back to sleeping by myself. The only problem we have is he talks in his sleep. Wakes me up sometimes but I just go right back to sleep.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Im the sleep talker in our relationship....ive given my hubby directions in my sleep (to where i have no idea)! Plus my hubby is a very light sleeper and i toss and turn a lot! So im usually the one waking him up everytime i change positions. He tells me that i snore and fart in my sleep too.......so yeah, if you asked him, im not the best sleeping partner..... :P
