Speaking of this thread... I'll have to buy a new bed when he comes... I only have two twin beds in the house and they are not the same height!! lol

When Dave and I first started living together we had two twin beds that would break almost everytime e sat on them or did laundry  We finally put a few books to support them and it worked, but we still had to deal with fixing the books under the beds everyday and with them not being the same height!!!

We do pretty well getting some ZZs together, share the space and blankets fine most of the time and for some reason his snoring doesn't bother me even though I have always hated being in the room with snorers.

The most difficult thing is our different schedules. I am a teacher, so I'm always up early and James is still waiting for the EAD so he stays up later and gets up way later. We are always waking each other up, but most of the time its fine, the sleeping one of us will just say hi or bye and roll back over to sleep. I couldn't imagine not being in the same bed at this point.

I like sharing.

Yes, he farts sometimes, but hey -- so do I! It's natural. I love snuggling with him each night. I find it comforting to wake up in the middle of the night and be all snuggled up.

Everything REALLY is bigger in America.......
:o

we also have a HUGE bed so i hardly know he's there cos i dont like to share my bed either :P

I woulda gone a completely different angle with that quote

Me and Dave slept in a king size in England...which is the size of a US Queen imo. That was all good! We even had our own way of sharing a couch! We'd come home from a night of partying, sit on the couch to watch Easties & eat beans on toast...the next thing we'd know, we were both sleeping on the same couch...quite comfortably, might i add!

Here, we sleep in a US King, which is like a baseball field, lol

We were pretty miserable until we upgraded from full to queen. Since then we are much happier; and now when we *don't* sleep in the same bed it seems weird!

We sleep together just fine. We're both heavy sleepers, except that if one of is sick with a cold or something, and need to get up too often we end up waking the other, but then again, if we're sick we need that extra care. :D
