I'm not sure if we'll have a babysitter for our 7-year-old K2 applicant.

First, does she *need* to go to the interview, and second, if she doesn't *need* to, is she *allowed* to?

I asked montreal about my kids, I was told that it really wasn't necessary unless they were over 14, that they'd prefer I not bring them, but I could if I wanted to. Hope that helps

Medical: January 10th, 2007

Interview: January 23rd, 2007, at 2:30. APPROVED

Entry to the US: Feb 28th, 2007 POE Ivy Lea

Married: March 2nd, 2007

AOS/EAD sent May 4th, 2007

NOA1s for all 3 AOS and my EAD May 14th, dated for May 10th

EAD touched May 28th,29th, 2007, Youngest daughter's AOS touched May 29th, 2007

Biometrics: May 30th, 2007

All cases touched May 31, 2007, June 5th, 2007, August 1st, 2007

All 3 AOS transferred to California July 5th, 2007

EAD Approved July 27th, 2007

Finally movement on my AOS, touched on Feb 22 & 24th

GC May 11 2008, date of april 29th on them.

No she doesn't need to go unless specifically requested. I do not see why she couldn't go anyways. She just might find it "boring"..lol.

Fortunately I was able to leave my girls home with my mom. Don't think I could have done it with 5 year old twin girls.........

Oct 1/09 - I-751 package sent

Oct 3 - package delivered

Oct 5 - NOA mailed

Oct 13 - 1st NOA received and additional letters for my daughters I filed with. NOAs stated Resident Status

has been extended for 1 year and that we will be receiving a letter for an ASC appointment for

fingerprints, photo, and signature.

Dec 2009 - Received 10 year permanent resident card.

Feb 2010 - My children received their 10 year permanent resident cards.

Oct 2010 - My children were legally adopted by my USA Citizen husband.

It depends on the Embassy. Look it up on their website the Jamaica embasssy says over six needs to appear for the interview.

02/17-22/07 Corey called everyday talked on phone for hours

02/23/07 Corey said “I think I love you”

03/11/07 Went back to JA

03/14/07 Corey asked me to marry him “I said yes”

03/18/07 Returned to US

The Montreal Consulate's website sucks for information, especially for immigrant and K visa applicants.

yea during my interview some lady brought her three boys.

I felt so bad for her, and those children. They had to sit in that boring place all morning. When it was time to do the paperwork part the lady had to keep stopping so she could tell them to be quiet. I couldn't hear half of the stuff that was going on when I was giving my paperwork because of her kids.

At one point when I was waiting to be interviewed her kids were running around and security came out and yelled at them lol.

So ya bring your kids, but maybe bring a colouring book for her or some paper and crayons so she doesn't get too bored. :)

I brought my 9 year old son with me ... he was a great help carrying some of my stuff ... and he held my hand so I wouldn't be too nervous ... I love my sometimes not so little boy :)

Met in Cleveland 07/07/05 ... Fireworks!!!

Emails and phone calls until first visit back September '05

Many trips to Cleveland and overnight stays in New York

Engaged 05/07/06

07/18/07 - Interview yeeehaaa .. approved

07/26/07 - received Visa from Montreal (should have received 07/24)

07/26/07 - POE Buffalo, NY (Peace Bridge) .. No EAD stamp

07/27/07 - Beautiful marriage .. now you may call me Mrs. :)

07/28/07 - Filed AOS,EAD, and AP for me and AOS and AP for my son via UPS .. received 08/01

08/16/07 - applied for ssn

09/03/07 - received ssn card

11/07/07 - AP approved and received 11/12/07 :)

11/19/07- EAD approved online and received same day (actual approval 11/07/07) :)

12/27/07 - AOS transferred to CSC

02/26/08 - 485's approved without interview

01/14/09 - Sent I-751 - removal of conditions

02/23/10 - Biometrics

03/17/10 - Removal of conditions approved .. card production ordered
