still confusing

there was nothing to indicate to me that i should not have sent the original I-864 to NVC. I only have a photocopy of it now. I could print out another, fill it out, one and send that as the original to my wife. Also, I don't have 6 months of pay stubs but I have tax transcripts and W2s from 4 years. If I send those , are copies good enough? how could I hve known this stuff before hand. This is crazy. I don't see why the Embassy wants to make us jump through so many hoops. Please reply if possible.

OK, so I don't think that originals are necessary for I-864 affidavit, the only *originals* I sent in were my letters from employer. What is your timeline? I'm guessing you're close to your interview (yay for you!). Can you get paystubs or a verification letter from your employer?

CR1 application

I-130: 03/26/2007-07/02/2007 at NSC

NVC: 07/20/2007-11/08/2007

Interview at Montreal Consulate: 01/18/2008

(2 months' additional security checks)

Received Green Card: 05/12/2008

Removal of Conditions

I-751: 2/25/10-
