hello all,

I just found out that, my check was cashed for the AOS process. Does this mean that they got everything they need to process my file, atleast for now? is that a correct statement to make at this point? ( I understand, there can be RFE later.. ) ne thoghts..

Hello our check was cashed on Monday too.

Are you able to check your case status online?

we tried but it is not yet in the system..I wonder how long it will take till the NOA arrives with this backlog.

Or maybe it means they are catching up with the petitions?

@soni1952... yeah, when your check is cashed it's a very good sign. You might expect an RFE. You'll for sure get an bio. appt. letter in the mail some time. Good luck with your process.

@Ivelina_Andrew... Hmm... I filed end of July and my case is still not online. Not even on the phoneline. So don't give up on it, just wait. I got so mad so many times already but there is nothing you can do about anyway. So good luck to you as well!!!!

Once you have done with your Biometrics appointment, you should be able to check your status online, thats what happened to me anyway, it could be sooner.

I was told by an Immigration Officer (second level beyond the main help people at the 1800 number) that the phone system, the online system, and the ssytem the main help line sees are all the same. So if its not on one it wont be on any of the others. The person I talked ot put a "service request" to make my receipt number trackeable and told me it would take 10-14 business days for it to happen, but the very next day my I-485 was online (entirely useless though as it shows nothing, not even a touch after biometrics). My I-130 still isnt however.
